Hi! My name is Jasmin—I’m a proud Black and Peruvian woman from New York City and a fourth-year Psychology major at Northeastern University. I’m deeply committed to empowering historically marginalized communities and addressing systemic barriers. I’m eager to use my experience in DEI to build equitable opportunities in career development and experiential learning on the NUPLACE team. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy arts and crafts such as sewing, ceramics, and painting, as well as staying active through dancing, hiking, and exploring new cuisines.
